For more than four decades, I have practiced small-animal medicine — diagnosing complex cases, managing surgical patients, and guiding families through some of the most difficult moments of their pets’ lives. I currently serve as Medical Director of Newport Mesa Animal Hospital, a family-owned practice with deep community roots.
As I transition out of full-time clinical practice, I am offering an independent consultation service for the moments when families and legal teams most need careful, experienced eyes on a medical record.
My promise is simple: every review is thoughtful, medically grounded, objective, and clear. I will explain what the records say, what they don’t say, and what reasonable next steps might look like — in language you can actually use.

I do not establish a veterinarian-client-patient relationship online, prescribe treatment, or provide definitive treatment advice without examination. What I do offer is the experienced perspective of a veterinarian who has spent a career sitting with families through complex decisions.
