Nature of the service

This website offers an independent veterinary consultation service consisting of plain-language record explanations, second opinions, and forensic medical record review.

The service provides educational consultation and objective case review. It is not a telemedicine service, does not establish a veterinarian-client-patient relationship online, does not include in-person examination of any animal, and does not include prescribing or definitive treatment recommendations.

Not emergency care

This service is not emergency care and does not replace your primary veterinarian or specialist. If your pet may be experiencing an emergency, contact your veterinarian or nearest emergency hospital immediately.

Professional and legal scope

Services are provided only as legally and professionally appropriate. California law sets specific requirements for the establishment of a veterinarian-client-patient relationship, and nothing on this site should be interpreted as the practice of veterinary medicine in any jurisdiction in which it would not be permitted.

No guarantees

While every consultation is prepared with care and grounded in clinical experience, no specific outcome can be guaranteed. The information provided is intended to support — not replace — the decisions you make in partnership with your primary veterinarian or specialist.

Use of submitted records

By submitting records, you authorize their review for the purpose of your consultation. Records are handled securely and are not shared with third parties except as required by law or as coordinated with your written authorization.

Forensic engagements

Forensic record review for attorneys is provided as an objective, independent professional service. The scope, deliverables, and terms of any forensic engagement are agreed in writing before work begins.
